Sometimes a Small Thing

Sometimes a small thing can trigger a story idea. Mrs. Pearl, 93 years old at the time, sent a $20 cash donation to Reading & Radio Resource with a hand-written note saying that the radio reading service was the first thing she heard in the morning and the last thing at night.

Her note led to a wonderful feature story in The Dallas Morning News.
