It’s All About Your Co-Chair
Special Events ALWAYS require enormous effort, more time than ever imagined, nail-biting stress until the last curtain comes down, and uncertain timing. They also, if you’re lucky, mean a chance to work as a cohesive team, meet people you’d otherwise never meet, raise money and awareness for a good cause, and wok towards a final goal. And, if you’re really luck – make close friends and learn new job skills.
Leadership is KEY. We know good leaders when we work with them. I’ve worked with a few, and I hope been one myself. Picking a chair and co-chair for your special event is the most important decision. It sets the tone for everything that follows.
