Carmelite NGO funded by the Raskob Foundation

A unique vision of climate change from the Carmelite NGO, http://carmelitengo.org/carm_special_issues/environment/carm_perspective/position%20statement.2.pdf”>

The work of the Carmelite NGO on climate change was recently funded by the Raskob Foundation, an independent private Catholic family foundation making grants and loans worldwide for projects and programs associated with the Catholic Church.

The Carmelite NGO, a non-governmental organization with special status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) and affiliated to the Department of Public Information (DPI) of the United Nations, is comprised of the men and women from around the world who are members of the Carmelite religious Order or its affiliated Congregations and Institutes within the Catholic Church. The CNGO, a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, was founded in 2001 as a way to bring the aspirations and voices of the poor and marginalized to the global community.
