Feature Writing

Feature writing offers a chance to more fully explore an issue and to tell a compelling a story. It’s also a chance to bore the reader after the first page if attention is not paid to story arc.

The CliffDweller Magazine article on the Rosemont Elementary School’s arts program was a work of love for me. The school, a Dallas public school, uniquely offers lessons in the visual arts, dance, theater, orchestra, and choir to all of their students, funded in part by the Rosemont Early Childhood PTA, the oldest early childhood PTA in Texas. I’m proud to be a member of RECPTA and to have chaired their Auction in 2008 and 2009.
